Permission Letters 
I emailed my teacher as I realised for a section of my film, I will need to use school grounds for a small section of it.  
 
Additionally, I emailed the council just to ensure that I have permission to film in the location I require.

Dear Sir/Madam,  
My name is Jack Morton and I am studying BTEC Media in Dinnington High School 6th form. In this course, we study many different themes and one of the main topics we focus on is filmmaking and I would like to ask for your permission to film in one of your areas. Kendall Woods would be the perfect place for my film as it would fit the setting and it is local to me. I would only need permission for one day as I am only filming a small section for my project. I have a small crew and limited cameras/equipment, so this won’t be a distraction to any dog walkers or passers-by.

I have written a letter to ask for permission to film in Kendall Woods. I think this was necessary as some passers-by may have been confused with the somewhat dangerous activities my crew and I are going to be performing.

Film Script   Plot:   Set as the sun is going down in modern day in a forest. First scene is the victim and the murderer. Close up shots of trees and bushes blowing in the wind. Close up of a puddle then a footstep splash runs through it.  The camera is t rucking along with the victim as he continues sprinting. Risk Assessment

I was required to made a risk assessment for the film introduction I am going to be recording. I did this to run through all the possible risks that could affect the filming or the actors. I did this in the form of a table as i believe that it is the easiest, most organised way to lay out the work. This risk assessment will help me avoid any form of danger during the time we spend filming.

Location Recce

I made a Location Recce as part of my pre-production process in the form of a table that displays all contents that is required for the location of my film. After researching different ways in which i can lay this out, i decided that table form would be the easiest as it is easy to understand. I also added a photo of the area i will be filming in to allow for the cast/crew to gain an idea of the type of location we will be filming in.
